My 10 1/2 pound trooper

We had Isabel's 6 week check up this past week. It went great and guess what...Isabel now weighs 10 pounds and 9 ounces. She is in the 50th percentile for her weight and 50-60 percentile for height. At 6 weeks it is standard to receive SHOTS!! I thought I would have a hard time watching my baby cry getting the shots...but to my surprise she was such a good sport. She let out a BIG yell and that was it!!! She started fussing when we got in the car, but I looked at the clock and it was because she was starving...it had been three hours since she ate. I am so proud of my 10 and 1/2 pound trooper!!!

Well we have passed the one month mark and we are doing great!! Isabel is sleeping a little better at night and is now going like 3-4 hours before eating instead of 2-3. I am so anxious to weigh her next week at the six week check up...I know she is growing because I have already had to box up some of her pjs that are too small. Phillips is on a great rotation this month and is home fairly early, which helps me out alot. I thought I would post some pics of this childs many facial expressions. She is so cute and constantly moving her mouth. Here are some random pics from this past week.

Lots of firsts/week three

Things are moving along and Isabel is growing before our eyes. Night time is still a mystery and every night is a different story. We are pretty much waking up around midnight, 2-3, and 5-6 then sleeping til around 8-9. She is normally a little fussy at some point in the day lasting from 2-3 hours long...we think reflux and stomach cramps. Last night the fussy time was in the middle of the night; YEAH for me!! But I can usually calm her down placing her upright and she likes to dig her head in my neck. Most often we both fall asleep in this position. I thought I would post some pictures taken this week. We had a lot of firsts. She took her first bath in the tub!!! She took her first nap in her room/in her crib. She had her first outing at a Mexican restaurant.

Little Lamb at 2 weeks old

Isabel had her two week check up this week and doc says we are right on track. She gained a WHOLE pound since leaving the hospital and now weighs 8 lbs 4 oz. She is changing everyday and is such a joy!! Here is my little lamb!

FOUR GENERATIONS

Here is a picture of four generations of only girls. Great Grams, Mia, Mommy, and Isabel!! Great Grams (my maternal grandmother) came up to Jackson for a visit this past weekend. What a blessing for Isabel to have met her great grandmother. It was a wonderful weekend! And even more unbelievable...Isabel is incredibly lucky to have all FOUR great grandmothers in her life!!
