Jaunt to Lake Charles

The girls and I took a quick trip to Lake Charles the last weekend of September.  We left Phillips at home to study for his GI boards (taken on October 3rd).  Here are some moments captured.  We had an LSU football party, visited great grandparents, and attended Aunt Libby and Cousin John Paul's birthday party.  It was a quick trip yet very restful for me.  Yes, Mommy got to sleep in:)

Caroline Pulling Up

Caroline started pulling up toward the end of September (8 months old).  It won't be long now until she cruises.

We are trying to help Caroline learn to crawl up on all fours.  She has mastered scooting on her belly and gets frustrated that she can't go fast.  She can rock back and forth on all fours and can complete three official arm/leg/arm movements but then falls right back to her belly and swims like a fish out of water.   Isabel so desperately wants her to crawl.
