HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISABEL

I can not believe it was one year ago that I had just given birth to my beautiful baby girl. Time has flown by, and we have loved every single minute watching her grow. Isabel, you have been the BEST baby we could have asked for. Recently, she has been so much fun....from walking (well maybe running), loving on her babydoll, splashing around the tub, pointing to everything with her index finger, eating ALL the time, and developing quite a vocabulary (dank do....thank you, dog, ta...cat, dada, mama, nana). We have almost mastered transitioning to WHOLE milk....and we are working on sippy cup during the day. My little bug is going to have her big LADYBUG B-DAY bash on January 9th. Isabel's First Christmas

We are back home now after our 5 day Christmas Road trip. First stop...Natchez, MS. Next stop...Lake Charles. Here are just a few of the many pictures. Apologies to BB, Big, Grandmama, and Granny and Sonny...I missed snapping photos of all of you...but you all made it in the video. We had a wonderful Christmas and are tremendously blessed to have such an amazing family. LOVE TO ALL!

Meet Carlyle Garrity

Over Chirstmas, we met up with our dear friends, Justin, Lauren, and their new baby Carlyle. She is so absolutely precious...a gift from Heaven! Isabel did not know what to think. Who is this new baby getting all my mommy and daddy's attention. She made it very clear that I was not to hold the new baby. At one point, when I was sneaking some sugar from Carlyle, Isabel grabbed her baby doll to let me know that two can play this game! We may be postponing adding #2 to our family until the jealousy and mommyitis calms down!

City Park Saturday Stroll

On Saturday, December 19th, Daddy, Mommy, and Isabel went for a stroll in City Park. We played on the playground and Daddy pushed Isabel in the swing. Isabel had fun watching the ducks too. We are LOVING New Orleans!!

Costa Rica

Phillips and I traveled to Costa Rica to celebrate Big's (Phillips dad) 60th Birthday. We were gone for 6 days and 5 nights and left Isabel at home with my side of the family. We are so fortunate that Mia and Bops (3 days) then CC (3 days) came to New Orleans to watch the baby. We stayed in two places Arenal and Tamerinda and had the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation...with everything from zip lining through the rainforest and white water rafting to laying out on the beach and 5 hours in the spa. Merry Christmas to us....a little early!!

Christmas Card Pictures

Well I decided to do my own Christmas card photography and then get Isabel's one year pictures done after the holidays. It was just too hard to schedule the photo session with enough time to send out the cards. Plus, I wanted to wait until she was walking really good to take the next set of pics. By the way...she is walking!!! She took 6-8 steps on 11-30-09 and is now walking all over the place. Here is a sneak peak of trying to capture a mobile baby. I did get one good picture for the card that I am not showing and will have them mailed out soon!!
