Throw me something mister

It was SUNDAY FUNDAY for us!!! We went to church on Saturday evening, so that we could play the whole day!! We started the day with pancakes and banana...Isabel's favorite. Then, we loaded up and went to the Lil Rascals Parade in Metairie at noon. We had a blast and joined some friends to watch the parade...thanks Cori for the spot. I don't know who had more fun, Isabel or mommy. I LOVE parades. We caught tons of beads and lots of stuffed animals too.






Then at 4:00 our neighborhood had a mini parade with a brass band leading the way. We pulled Isabel and her little friend Remi in the Mardi Gras wagon float. They loved it!



When we returned home and got ready for bed. Daddy taught me a new game with one of the broken beads. It was so fun and entertained me for an hour.

Isabel is really coming into her own and developing quite the personality. She is precious and thinks that she do everything that mommy does...all by herself. I would like to think of this as her asserting her independence early in life. I think I am going to have my hands full. Here are some of her recent discoveries:

We had two of our favorite couples over for the big game last night. Isabel and Remi had a blast together. And so did all the mommy and daddy's.

My little ladybug and her party

We celebrated Isabel's FIRST birthday this weekend. She had a ladybug birthday bash at home with family and friends. I absolutely loved putting this party together, and I have to say that it was PERFECT!!! Isabel was so precious eating her cake and did it very dainty like, taking one little bite at a time...until she decided to UH-OH the whole thing off the tray and onto the floor. She thought it was better to see the cake fall and splat on the floor than to eat it. It was a great time and we would like to thank everyone that helped us celebrate.
