Four Month Stats

Weight: 15 lbs 5 oz.
Height: 24 1/2 inches
Head Circumference: 41 cm
Reaction to Shots: Heartbreaking

We had a good well baby appointment today and will see Dr. Phillippi one more time before leaving for New Orleans. Isabel can now start baby food. So my plan is to begin with cereal on the spoon and then start adding baby food. Any suggestions as to what to open first...veggies or fruits?

Just the two of us

I took Isabel to 10:30 Mass this morning by myself. This is the first time we have gone to Mass without Daddy. We did okay...starting out in the main church and moving to the cry room right before Communion. Isabel had been up since 8:30 this morning and I knew she was going to get tired, but my hope was that she would fall asleep in church....WRONG!! She is such a busy body and can't miss a beat. Watching all the people in church was way too entertaining. And she never cried...we moved to the cry room because she would not stop talking. And when everyone sang, she babbled more..like she was singing too. It really was cute.

These pictures are from Saturday. Phillips has been working all weekend, so we had Mom and Daughter weekend! Yesterday we went to the mall and to the grocery store, and we cooked and cleaned the house. All in all, it was a relaxing weekend just the two of us hanging out!!!

Happy Easter!!

These are pictures from yesterday and today. And yes Isabel had two Easter outfits...one for Saturday and one for Sunday! The Easter Bunny came this morning and has set the bar high for the following years to come. We went to 10:30 Mass and Isabel made it all the way through without having a melt down. Then we ate lunch at with our friends The Dearmans!! Thanks Mandy, Caine, Jobi, and Emily Caine for the delicious shrimp and grits!!!

Great Weekend

We had an amazing weekend in Lafayette, LA for Colleen and Jimmy's Wedding. Isabel was wonderful as usual and a big hit at the wedding. Before we headed home on Sunday, we stopped to visit with the Rountree Family (Kate, Will, Elle, and Liam).

These are some photos of this past weekend.

Doubled Booked

We have been crazy busy with weddings back to back. Last weekend we were in Greenville, MS and this weekend we are off to Lafayette, LA. Being a bridesmaid in both weddings as been somewhat of a challenge, but Daddy has stepped up to the plate to help out. He did a great job last weekend and things went great. In fact, she slept through the entire reception with the band playing loud music. This weekend my parents are coming to Lafayette to help out and to relieve Phillips of some of the not so fun duties. Anyway, with all of the packing, unpacking, cleaning, and repacking I have not had a moment to publish a post. Here are some recent photos of Isabel. And I will be taking lost of pics this weekend!!!

After picking up Isabel from Day Care...she is worn out!!!
