Natchez weekend

Isabel and I spent the weekend in Natchez visiting grandparents and great grandparents. We had a lovely and busy weekend. We loved getting to spend time with everyone and capture ALL of your pictures.

Easter Morning

Someone must be a good girl cause the Easter bunny made a stop. Isabel consistently asked the Easter Bunny for THREE cupcakes (one green, blue, and red). And she was soooo excited to see that not only did he leave them but mom and dad let her eat them for breakfast.....which made for an interesting Mass. She was a little extra wiggly today from a sugar high. The bunny also left eggs outside for her to find. And Phillips and I just had to take some pictures of Isabel in her Easter dress. I have to say she looked like a doll.....acted a mess in Church....but looked like a doll! God is so GOOD!!!

Garden Gate Hunt

Our local garden/plant shop hosted an amazing easter egg hunt this morning. Eggs were EVERYWHERE....must have been 3,ooo eggs. They also had the Easter bunny visit, a clown making balloons, lemonade, coffee, and cupcakes. Thanks Garden Gate for a wonderful Saturday morning.

Decorating Easter Eggs

I don't know who has more fun...Mommy or Isabel? This is probably one of my all time favorite holiday traditions. I LOVE making cool colors. Daddy had to tell Mommy to calm down and let Isabel decorate.

CCG Easter Egg Hunt/Crawfish Boil

This past Sunday our neighborhood hosted an Easter Egg Hunt/Crawfish Boil. Isabel was so excited to hunt eggs but was even more thrilled to find CANDY inside. I had to constantly redirect her to pick up more eggs before the big kids got them. Daddy was able to join for a couple of minutes to see her smiling face before heading back to the hospital. Thanks Country Club Gardens (CCG) for being such a great neighborhood for us!

French Quarter Festival 2011

We had an amazing weekend with our wonderful friends that we consider family: The Garrity's. We celebrated French Quarter Festival (FQF) both Friday and Saturday by walking around the quarter, listening to great music, and eating delicious food. All together weekend highs include: the weather, Isabel getting a balloon made at FQF (she was so excited), finding a great camp out spot for our blankets in Jackson Square, Brennans shrimp poboy, Cafe duMonde, Isabel getting her hands painted at FQF (butterfly and heart), grown up gettaway to Ralphs in the Park Saturday night, swimming at our neighbors pool, late night games/laughs, and pj time in the morning. We had a super fun filled weekend.....and I'm smiling ear to ear thinking about all the memories made. ONLY regret: no group family shot!
