Mother's Day

We had a fabulous day! We all met up in Baton Rouge to celebrate Mother's Day and my big 30th birthday. Here are some family shots. Thank you Uncle Beau and Matthew for hosting a wonderful day.









I can't even begin to explain the blessing of being a mother. Isabel has made my world and brings me such joy. I love, love, love, giving my whole heart.....time.....energy.....patience...and so on, and would not have it any other way.

My FUN weekend

My weekend started with Phillips and I attending "Zoo to Do" on Friday night. This is a fundraiser the Whitney bank hosts every year at the Audubon Zoo. It was amazing. The whole Zoo illuminated, decorated like you would not believe, gourmet New Orleans restaurant booths everywhere you looked, alchohol stations, and the famous Four Tops played. If you have never been, I highly recommend going. Then Saturday we woke up and I took Isabel to a birthday party at the park (Mia and Great Grams came along). Then Phillips and I celebrated a day together at Jazz Fest. We watched Trombone Shorty and Jimmy Buffet. It was such a special birthday weekend....and huge thank you to my mom and grandmother for babysitting!!!
