Medicine Christmas Party/11 days to go

We attended the Internal Medicine Christmas party last night, and it was a lot of fun!! We also set an induction date for December 30th. Phillips has off a week of vacation for New Years; so we thought we should utilize all the time we can with him home. 11 days to go...hopefully. I go for a check up Monday 22nd and Monday 29th. If it looks like it's going to be a bad idea to induce on the 30th, then we are going to cancel it. BUT I am praying that does not happen. We are so ready to meet our baby girl!!!

Nesting/Crafting...3 weeks to go!!

Okay so I have been somewhat crazy with the crafts recently. I think it may be time to have a baby!! Over the past couple of weekends I have been making Christmas crafts. I made frames a couple of weeks ago and it was super easy. All you do is paint a design on a canvas board (found at craft store) with acrylic paint, glue a plastic magnetic frame in the center, back it with scapbooking paper, and hot glue bow on top. (You can set out the frames or glue ribbon to hang on wall.) Then the ornaments are super easy too. You need clear plastic glass balls (found at Hobby Lobby or Michael's), paint pens, shredded paper for basket accents, and ribbon. I decorated most of the glass balls with an initial and then poka dots in the background. Hope you all enjoy these ideas and happy crafting!!

50.5 percentile

We went yesterday for our 36 CHECK up!! Isabel is right on target at 6 lbs and 3 oz, and they think she will follow this pattern of growth since she has followed the 50th percentile bell curve this entire pregnancy. Which means she will weigh somewhere roughly in the 7 lbs range at delivery. Which is also great news for me!!! She is head down and ready to go...but I am not ready to go. The doctor thinks that I will probably deliver within two to four weeks. So I can relax this week, cause we're not having a baby early. This also gives her time to fatten up. Most of you would be delighted to hear that Isabel is going to be born with hair...and I mean LOTS of it. With my Italian genes and Phillips Scottish genes, we just knew she was going to have hair. On the ultrasound she has like a 1/2 inch long hair on the back of her head; I just hope she has it on the top too. Thats the update for now. We are going to relax this weekend and enjoy the calm before this exciting storm!
