3 month stats

Caroline's 3 month stats

weight: 13 pounds 1.5 ounces

height: 23 1/4 inches

Caroline is sleeping through the night from around 8:00 pm to 6:oo am. She is still breastfeeding and takes three 5 ounce bottles during the day of expressed milk. She is an amazing baby. She has started to smile more frequently and started cooing this week. Within a months time we should see her roll. Her eyes are still light in color and I think they may be turning green. She received two shots at the doctor yesterday and cried for both of them. She loves her hands and her pacifier!

Hawthorne and Hoop skirts

This past weekend Hawthorne was on the Spring Pilgrimage tour. We made a visit to see Granny all dressed up in her hoop skirt.

Easter Sunday

The Easter bunny knew where to find us this year. We woke up early and enjoyed Easter bunny treats then got all dressed in our Sunday's best. Isabel had a quick egg hunt at Hawthorne and then we attended First Presbyterian church service followed by lunch at the Carriage House. We had a wonderful Easter weekend in Natchez!

Little Maypole

Every year at Spring pilgrimage Natchez hosts a pageant. The Historic Natchez Pageant is a depiction of the Antebellum Era through song, dance and historical dialog including adornment of period costumes. This year Isabel was old enough to participate in the LIttle Maypole. It is a part of the pageant where little children dress in old southern attire and dance around a maypole. Isabel did wonderful and with NO reservation went out to perform.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Episcopal Church held an Easter egg Hunt at Gloucester plantation in Natchez, MS. It was a beautiful Saturday and the garden was breathtaking. I snapped a few shots of Isabel and her Natchez friends (Cousin Jane Carby, Harrison Callon, and Webb Ratcliff).

Easter Bunny and Dying Eggs

I took the girls yesterday to visit the Easter Bunny at Clearview Mall (there was NO ONE there). Isabel LOVED him this year....giving him high fives, hugs, and was eager to sit on his lap. She did ask why the bunny did not talk. I told her, "bunnies don't talk...silly goose". I dressed them in matching bunny outfits made by ME! I as so happy the way they turned out. We are off to Natchez tomorrow for Easter weekend. I am sure I'll have plenty of great Easter weekend pictures!
