Back to Reality
Isabel update: Sitting upright for long periods of time. Eating baby food...finally! Her favorite is prunes + apples. Throwing temper tantrums when she is overtired and does not want to nap. TEETHING...and we pray there is a tooth soon. Wearing hair clips with the little bit of hair she has in the front. Loves water...bath time especially. Flipping on the changing table...making it near impossible to get footy pjs on. Reaching and grabbing for everything. Saying Ga Ga Ga over and over and over again. If she would just turn that G to a M, we would be in good shape. All in all she is such a wonderful baby and I have really enjoyed getting to spend this last week with her at home. I have a great feel for what its like to be a stay at home mom and I really respect and admire those that do it. I am sad in a big way to start my new job tomorrow but am ready to get back to reality and get our lives on more of a schedule. Isabel went swimming this afternoon in her new shaded pool. She had fun...but like everything else, it did not last long.

We are here
We are all doing great and the move went smoothly. We have been so busy unpacking to make this house "our home". We send a HUGE thanks to both my mom (MIA) and Claudean (CC) for helping out this week with Isabel and unpacking. Phillips and I have been busy with getting settled (paper work, bills, finding our way to the nearest grocery, bank, target, lowes, etc). Our house is in the PERFECT location and we could not be more excited to start the next chapter of our lives here. Our street is breath taking and lined all the way on either side with gorgeous oak trees. So here is a picture of our cute green shot gun cottage.

Bye Bye 710
We are almost ready, with a few boxes left to pack. If any of you have ever moved you know how exhausted we are. I am hoping that unpacking is easier than packing. We leave Jackson tomorrow and head to New Orleans. The movers come tomorrow 8:30 and then will deliver Monday 8:30. The great news is that we are leaving with our house in Jackson under CONTRACT. Yes that's right...we had an offer come in on Wednesday and we settled on Thursday. They lined up the inspection for Friday (yesterday) and want to close by July 1. WOW!!! God definetely had his hand in this one...while four houses sit on the market in a row on our street. Bye Bye 710 and SO LONG JACKSON!!!

Pack it up and move it out
I apologize for not posting in a while. We have been slammed and these past couple of weeks we have not stopped. I wanted to update you all on the status of our move to New Orleans. We are packing up the rest of this week and next and the van is scheduled to arrive Sunday June 21. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as this is a very emotional, stressful, and exciting time for us. I promise to post some pictures soon!! Oh and also add in those prayers that our house sells soon...right now we have two. Lots of love, Laurel
