Our Shining Star

Little Red Schoolhouse of Metairie Presents

2011 Christmas Program

Isabel and the Young Three Class were shining stars with a precious performance of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, This Little Light of Mine, and If Your Happy and You Know It. Isabel sang so beautifully and we are so proud of her. All of the children were absolutely adorable.

We had Isabel's 3rd birthday party this weekend at La Petite Tea Room in Metairie, LA. The theme was a Fairy Tea Party and IT WAS ADORABLE!!! I am going to let the pictures tell the story. And more pics of family and after party to come.

Baby Room Update

We've been busy getting ready to welcome new baby home. We have done the room in multi colors and I think that it has turned out great. The finishing touches still need to be made and some things I have to wait to see if it is a boy or a girl. I have been busy sewing burp cloths (see below) and you can also view the ALL white going home outfit. I also made the mobile hanging from the crib from little ornaments I found at Target. More pics to come.

Santa and Isabel 2011

The most precious year by far!!!! She was a little timid at first, then when we got up there she sat on his lap, talked to him, told him that she was a good girl, and gave him a hug. Phillips and I were so surprised to hear her request....she told him that she wanted a puppy dog and lots of toys.....WHAT???? Santa saw the look on my face and quickly said, "Oh Isabel, I don't think that Santa can bring you a real puppy....it is such a hard trip for animals to make...you'll have to talk to your mom and dad about that." Go Santa!

Count down begins to family of FOUR

One month to go! I can NOT believe it. I took this pic on December 2, 2011. I will take one each week from here on out. We are sort of ready....as ready as we will be. The room is almost done, clothes are washed in DREFT, did my last run to Babies R Us, and bought my last Christmas present this weekend. Things to do: pack bags, get BIG SIS outfit together, and load car seat. OH and I know I need to rest....but I can NOT. I am nesting more now than ever. All I can think about is organizing and cleaning.

33 weeks pregnant

Here is the much needed documentation that I am indeed pregnant. I have not intentionally avoided blogging about BABY #2....time just seems to be slipping away. I think I took this shot around week 33. We anxiously await your arrival baby!
