OCTOBER 8, 20011 marks the goodbye to the BOPPIES (Isabel's pacifiers...all 15 of them). We have been talking about it for some time. And Isabel was right on board with TURNING BIG!!! So as a family we collected all the pacifiers from all over the house and wrapped them in a small box....with Christmas wrapping. We then put real big on the front....FOR BABY...and delivered it to the baby room to await the new babies arrival. The package resides in the baby room for now. We are officially on day 5 of no boppy, and let me say that this has been no easy feat. Isabel has only been using boppies at night time and nap time on weekends. She does not have it at all during the day or at school. It was recommended by our pediatrition to get rid of them before baby arrives...in hopes to minimize the regression of Isabel acting like a baby. Nights have been tougher than days but last night was GREAT!!! She had very little trouble falling asleep and only woke up once.
Phillips and I are so PROUD of our BIG GIRL. AND she if 100 % potty trained in both departments....no accidents for 1 month now.
